If it is necessary to operate in a covert role then a combined microphone/inductor or neck-loop microphone/inductor is available.

Used in conjunction with a covert wireless earpiece and Torpedo PTT this provides a fully covert solution.

Also available for use with S10, FM12 or equivalent respirators and Peltor Comtac headsets is a microphone/earpiece interface.

 

This provides a Nexus plug that interfaces directly to the Peltor's receive audio socket and a small microphone that connects to the primary speech module on the front of the respirator to allow clear transmit and receive audio whilst wearing the respirator.

When in stand-down the speaker microphone can be used in isolation or alternatively a simple ear-hanger can be plugged into the socket on the base of the unit, this will route the audio to the earhanger and activate the microphone within the unit.
