The Genesis-1 headset is designed for use with or without head protection and is suitable for use with public order, ballistic and similar helmets, with either generic or customised Ear Moulds.

As the main use of Genesis-2 headsets is to provide motorcycle riders with communications, it is usually supplied in a dual earpiece form along with customised Ear Moulds for maximum hearing protection and to allow radio reception at high speed.

Ear impressions are required for custom moulded products such as the covert wireless earpieces, ear microphones and the more robust public order solution Genesis 1. Having a custom moulded device increases the comfort over long term and allows covert users to have earpieces that fit further into the ear.
