The aerodynamic shell is a reinforced “Duroplastic”, which is a special matrix developed by Schuberth, and gives the helmet high levels of strength.

For optimised impact absorption properties, the inner shell of the helmet consists of several components.

This complex segmenting achieves better absorption and distribution of impact forces and provides a greater level of protection. The large side sections ensure the helmet provides optimum fit and the greatest comfort.

A lot of attention has been given to improving the acoustic properties of the C2 without a reduction of comfort.

 

Various features developed in Schuberth’s wind tunnel (such as special adaptation of the wind deflector in the chin area and the shape of the acoustic collar) as well as the choice of special materials eliminates draughts and makes the helmet quieter.
