SONIC COMMUNICATIONS (INT) LTD ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR

Sonic Communications (Int) Ltd, based in the West Midlands and one of the UK’s leading suppliers of technical equipments and solutions into Law Enforcement Agencies worldwide, announced on the 1st September 2009 the retirement of Mr David Bryan as Managing Director, after some 32 years of service and the appointment of Mr Neil Barker as the new MD of the Company. The announcement was made by the Company Chairman Mr Melvin Sheldon, at a briefing to all employees. Sonic Communications (Int) Ltd is a member of the SONCELL International Ltd group of Companies, which is part of the Homeland Security Division of Bowmer & Kirkland Ltd.

David will continue to work for the SONCELL group, with a specific role in advancing the groups commitment to the design and manufacture of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV’s), of which he has been heavily involved in during the last 3 years.

Neil joined the Company as the Technical Sales Manager in May 1987 from the Ministry of Defence, moving on to become the General Manager and was appointed as the Sales Director in 1994. and has therefore had experience in all aspects of the Company during this time. Melvin advised staff that the appointment would provide continuity within the organisation and maintain the group strategy for growth of both Sonic Communications (Int) Ltd and other Companies within the SONCELL group.
