Sonic Communications teams up with Rob Mac Racing in ‘08
2008 will see a new high level motorsport partnership with Rob Mac Racing. Competing in both the British Superbike Championship with Karl Harris onboard the Rob Mac Racing Yamaha YZF-R1 and the British Supersport Championship with a three-man team fielding the latest Yamaha YZF-R6.
The British Supersport Championship will be contested by the 2007 Virgin Media R6 Cup Champion, BJ Toal and team-mate Nick Medd, under the Virgin Media Yamaha banner. The other side of the garage will be occupied by Joe Dickinson on an identical racebike but under the Trucklinks livery.
The team pit-crew will fully utilise the Sonic Communications Ear Defender Range. Equipped with 16 channels for ease of communication to the team members. Crew members have the added benefit of noise cancelling ear defenders with fitted receivers and boom microphones. All ensuring that precise communication is fluent in a highly charged and noisy environment. A highly valued and important part of the teams essential equipment. |

Also provided by Sonic , will be the tried and tested Sting™ DVR video mounted camera system as seen on the Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman adventures in the “Long Way Round” and “Long Way Down”.
This system can either be Helmet mounted or mounted onto the bike allowing exciting digital footage to be captured by the team, this footage will then be broadcst on www.robmacracing.com throughout the season.
