The Sepura Universal Radio Frame (S-URF) is designed to be an easily portable radio system that can be rapidly deployed in a rucksack, or deployed into a vehicle. Once the radio unit is installed onto the Sepura Universal Radio Frame, it can be used as a self-contained system with power provided rechargeable from Lithium the Polymer 22Ah (LiPo) battery, the battery can be easily changed for a fully charged one to continue with operational requirements. The S-URF can also be powered and simultaneously operated from a 12v vehicle socket or AC mains power supply. Communications can take place utilising the HBC-3 handset, built in switchable loudspeaker or optional RSM fist mic.
